Wow, that's a damn shame. The summers at KC are amazing. I must admit, the meet last week was huge. Even guys who want the business must have been shocked at the numbers. Hard to move. All there needs to be is one 'incident', and they may be liable. Too bad...

The hallowed grounds of TCC are slowly being attacked...

EF and KK are no no places out this way...they are so boring during drive bys.

Lucky Sheridan (yes Sheridan, not Sherdain or the new one, Sherdian ) is still cool with us...

I left just after 10:00pm last night so I guess I missed all the drama. So I guess what happend to my buddies last week (see post in Wed. meet thread) was true.

Question,

Are you guys still meeting up at the KC Timmies in Scarborough? Reason I ask is that a couple of my buddy's were having a coffee late Thursday night last week in the lot and a security guard pulled up to them and asked them to leave. He said that the property management has asked that no one be allowed to park in the lot and hang out even though they may have purchased something at the Timmies. These guys were just parked and talking window to window, no loud music or anything like that. Just wondering.
Oh well, I guess this now applies to anyone hanging out in this parking lot anytime. I guess even me and my buddies will have to find a new late night Fri/Sat night hangout too.

i hope their jaws drop when they see the decrease in business because of these stunts the management should have tried to come to a compromise. Places in durham have huge car meets and they rope them in to keep the ediots from parking in the aisles.

It is business over a moment of tranquility.

And it is once a week, too.

WTF... the Good Times was cut short last night... WTF

Rent a cop wanted us to have the coffee inside instead
of outside the parking lot...the only thing I could think of
is that the mngmnt. is tired of the mess that we leave behind...

for all the added money they made on wednesday they could afford to pay a worker $6.85 an hour to clean up in the morning.... it would take maybe 2 or 3 hours max

Might not have been just the mess being left afterwards. Maybe it was complaints from 'other' customers as well, not being able to get into the parking lot or drive thu.

Whatever the case, we shouldn't have this kind of trouble at the O'Connor location.

Well I look at it from both sides...that the management is nice enough to let us park there, and the fact that yeah maybe we do **** off other customers...but to be blunt about it to the customers KC is not the only Timmies in the area... we def. need a bigger parking area though

I agree, the few meets I went to (all recently) I noticed that regular people who were just there to go to Tims or the drive-thru seemed to be having trouble getting through the parking lot. I don't think they are too concerned over losing money though, that location is busy enough as is.

I agree that the problem was that lots of other car clubs started meeting there as well the numbers of TCC people really seemed to increase from what I saw.
