Nice to meet you all

Hi guys. Just signed up today and wanted to say hello.

I currently live in Ottawa but I figured since I head to Toronto so often why not sign up.

I drive a 2001 Civic Coupe Si coupe right now. I've had it since November 2000. This winter I plan on installing a turbo and some coilovers.

I wanted to do an engine swap but I want the K24 which doesn't have mounts available yet from Hasport.

Anyway - nice to meet you all.

Cheers!

turbo on 7th gen electronics = poor driveability cuz the ECU is so overbearing in terms of ignition and fuel control.

True...there are a lot of things we have to do to get the car to run well. The positivie news is that there are several things we can do to properly and safely turbo the D17 and D17a2. My home site has members that have been boosting this engine for over 2 years now in varying climates such as Wisconsin and California. I was wanting to wait to see the results of a car after a solid year of boosting and I'm happy.

No, never made it out to TO for that one. I'll be there the weekend of Importfest though.

who are you on 7thgen?

Punkindrublic: They don't as far as swapping them into the 7thgen coupe/sedan.

The K20A2 and A3 use the same mounts but the K24 will have different one's made. Both by Hasport.
