wow! thats a lot to do in one frikkin month.. lots of money spent. make sure u post pics when its all done...before and after all the work if possible . my question is tho why would you go with a d15b if u got an ej8? (EJ8 is the 96-00 Si. maybe you meant EJ6 which is a dx?) cause a d15b had only 1 more hp than a d16y8 and like 6 LESS torque...so it wudnt b worth it unless you were just getting it for the 3 stage vtec for fuel economy.. but welcome and congratz on the frikkin deal man

$3200 for all that PLUS labour isnt really that expensives if u think bout it. and yes. i got a 97 si so isnt it a EJ8? w/e its all good , still a civic. Swaped to a d15b cuz wen i bought my car it had 300 km on it so basically it was dead. but i got the d15b brand new basically WITH all the electrical / tranny for 3bills. the only thing that i was cheezed about was my mechanic sold the other tranny which was LSD to some next guy which i would of got part of the deal.. w.e i have a stage 3 clutch anyways so all fun and games ... umm for the pics i can post the after pics but the before pics ill have to talk to my mechanic bout that cause he has all the stuff in the camera but dont worry ill post it for sure this month FOR SURE .. after my paint job.

the motor was dead? not cause it had 300 kms tho.. cause these motors can last like forever when properly maintained lol. im assuming there was a prob with the motor or something tho since u got the car for that price.. ne rust?

surprizingly no problem .. it actually pass etest / safety with the old motor and how the car was :O i just swaped cuz of the deal i got. but umm the car has like 1 tiny spot on the 1/4 pannel like any other civic. but still. cant go wrong for the price i got it for.

Welcome.

Stage 3 clutch? Rather harsh for street driving no?
