Need help!

My buddy has a 1992 accord coupe, and his hand break light is stuck on the "on position", even when having the hand break down.

Any idea how we could fix this? Its pretty annoying!

check out the assembly of it -> take off the cover and inspect the metal clip to see if its always engaged, I had the same problem with my civic's handbrake light.

The assembly may be broken, It's almost like a switch with a button, I had the same problem with my 91, just replace It.

LOL same with my accord. Doesn't bother me though, I know it's not engaged when it's down.

the hand brake light also has another purpose. it is also and indication that your brakes might need to be replaced. go to the dealer or pm civic sir as he works for honda
