need good cheap head lamps:::

ok,
last friday at the meet neil told me to call Strictly Details in mississauga to get the hook up on some cheap hyper white bulbs. the dude there told me to buy these ones he had for $50. said the cheap ones are ***** and blow all the time. said to go with these $50 ones cause they are like the HID's in bimmers.
what should i do guys? who's got what in their ride and what you pay from them?
i wanna spend like $30 or so. unless these $50 are the shiznit!
but we all know that an HID conversion is like a G. so they aren't real HID bulbs.

he didn't say. i don't think this guy really knew his stuff cause i asked him the wattage on them and he wasn't sure. just said "they're the best", and also something about a wiring harness and them charging $40/hour to install.

Go with H.I.D. H4's....they are 130/100 watt bulbs I think...rated to be the equivalent of 6000k brightness...they are more than enough. I've got em on my car and they are plenty bright and really pure white. I can get em for 25 bucks taxes in. PM me if you're interested.

To me all hyper white bulbs are the same. $50 for hyper whites are pretty expensive, most stores sells for like $35. I don't really like hyper white bulbs, they don't give that good of lighting. Talk to Ryan, he knows his shyt when it comes to light bulbs.

DON'T BUY THEM!!!!!!!

The HID look cannot be replicated with ordinary bulbs.

If you want really nice bulbs, order osram silverstarts from powerbulbs.com....i ordered H4s for my car and shipped from the UK it came to $50.99 CDN. The shipping is free, but the bulbs are expensive.

I think the club will argee with me that these are very high quality bulbs...surely 10x better than any hyper white bulb.

see what Ryan recommends first..
if you don't wanna go with what he recommends i'll sell ya my spare TypeR's for $25 (what i paid for them..)
i've been using mine for a year now so i know they last..and i don't see having to change them any time soon so i'll let them go..

Actually I recommended my Philips VisionPlus but the OSRAM Silverstars perform just as well. Don't buy blue bulbs if you want good vision.

was at Performance Improvements in etobicoke and the osram's are almost $80. little more than i want to spend at the moment.
because i had 1 super white in and a regular halo i wanted lights bad, so i just bought the euro platinum's for $34. they have a 90 day warrenty, so whatever.
maybe my next set will be the osrams.
thanks for the advice guys.
