Talking My New Winter Car :D

Finally got myself a winter car!! And a good one at that. Tell me if u think this was a good deal.

1993 DX hatch 182,000km, auto tranny (good for coffee drinking in the winter )

65 year old owner "since new"

All service and oil change records

Recent work:

New hood, New windshild, new tires, ALL NEW FRONT END BUSHINGS, and left upper controllarm/balljoint, new rad, new airfilter, fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap, rotor. new rear section exhaust... thats alll i can remember....

Without removing the drums and looking, the brakes feel solid as a rock, all the struts and springs are perfect, interior is MINT MINT MINT, super clean, no burns, no rips no tears. The engine is VERY strong, i couldnt belive it was an auto civic.

The bad: rear quarter panal rust above the wheels...typical honda but otherwise the paint is really nice (original) no dents, no dings.

Its an old guy at work, his son just got him a lease on a new 04 civic, so i offered him 1,500 for this one and he said its yours

Oh and get this, since i live in Quebec now, guess how much my insurance is on it.

285$ A YEAR!!!! haha insurance is so cheap here its great

so what do ya think 1,500 bux ?? I have no clue how much this car is really worth, I figured 2,500? Anyone know?

Correction, my insurance is 235 a year, pluse once i have my 97 civic transferred over to this company ill get a 10% deduction on both cars, so it will be like 200 a year lol.

ANd full coverage on my good civic is 1,200 a year tax in!! so both cars together are going to cost me 500 less than when i lived in ontario with one car

Yeah I'm seriously thinking about moving to Montreal. Lots of ladies, insurance is dirt cheap, and I always have a blast when I'm there.

There's good business there too. What are rents like?
