If you don't believe me, here's a quote from the Mitsubishi Japan website....

It says the Lancer was a "cousin" to the Mirage. Just like the Integra and Civic are cousins...they share the same basic platforms but they are different cars...
Same platform doesn't mean the same car. For instance the 7th gen Civics are built off of Honda's "Global Small Platform" which is also used for the RSX/Integra, CR-V, Element, Stream, and Edix/FR-V...are these all the same vehicles?

To begin with, that Neon is a gross colour! It's so gross and what's with the horrible fitment all over the car? There are such huge gaps on the trunk and hood and front kit!! Ewwwww!!!
