My EF Build in progress...
#21
Thanks guys.
The sand blasting shop is in Milton. (Steels and Trafalger)
Honestly though, they are taking WAY too long and I'm very disappointed now. It has been almost 3 weeks since i've put the car in for sand blasting. Not a word from them yet.... I called them several times, but they just keep telling me that they dont know when it will be done. A BIG thumbs down for not matching their "it's gonna take one week" phrase.
I haven't seen any part of that chassis yet, so I dont know exactly what they are doing. They told me the 'entire' car. Soda Blasting for body panels, and sand blasting for chassis.
I wanted to update the pics last night but I got pulled over with a car that I'm borrowing from the shop.... and it got towed... I got 3 tickets last night for that car having service plates. The camera was in the car and now i gotta get that camera!
My budget is blown way out of proportion now and I don't know how this project will end up. There was a lot of "oh I might as well get new this and new that since everything else is new" kinda things. So now I spent $ on things that I didnt expect to buy. But I didn't want to stinge out with old used parts as an eye / performance sore. As a matter of fact.... if this car is ready in time, it will be in Import Fest.
I am unbelieveably stressed now. The chassis is not back yet, budget is getting slim, the clock is ticking, got 3 tickets last night, court date in december, people buying my old EF stuff... *sigh*
I started this project because after coming back from Afghan, I was having a hard time adjusting to normal society. I needed something to do that I like doing everyday. So that's why I decided to go this far in rebuilding my car. Maybe I pushed myself too fast?
But one thing is for sure, I will finish this project! haha
