Thumbs down my car has been stolen

That sucks. Any chance you parked in a two-away zone and the car got towed and impounded? Happened to me once in TO. Freaked cause I thought the car got stolen, but the parking meter expired and the car got towed.

+1 , happened to a friend of mine. He was freaking out but as it turns out the car was impounded.

Yes, I got my car back from the impound today. The impound lot called my house this morning at 7am and told me that the car in their lot. I was so relieved, honestly. They told me the car was towed at 12:20am. Which is stupid IMO, because they also issued me a ticket at 12:10am. So i get towed for staying another 10mins, WTF? At least give me an hour.... So now i had to pay tow + storage + tax + parking ticket. At least the car is one piece...

btw just to rub it in, i paid 6$ for parking around the corner
hahaha srr but you freakin out was too funny and we couldnt resist laughing.

I had a similar experience. Drove my RX7 to a buddies place. Parked there, went out to the bar. Over drank, got dropped off back at my home. In the AM my mother came charging in and was like YOUR CAR IS GONE!!! Half buzzed I started to panic. Called Peel to report my car stolen. 45 minutes latter I was chatting with my buddy and told him my car was gone, got stolen. He LOL'd and reminded me it was in his driveway. LOL


The worst part was calling Peel back to explain what happened. LOL

sweet you got your car back sucks you have to pay for the ticket and towing...I got dinged in my truck down in the beaches parked for more then 3 hours think i was 3 more hours after I got the ticket and still didnt get towed! bad luck there for getting towed at lest it wasnt stolen and chopped!

Yeah, that's what I'm thankful for too. And no, getting it towed while I was about to drink and drive was not for the best. Its not the first time. :P
