My 2k2 SiR **PICS**

Okay here's your review..... Let me start by saying that I previously had a 93 Si hatch. I decided to sell it, because I was looking for something a little more "refined".
There are a lot of good points...
It feels really strong, and sturdy. You can tell a lot of thought went into it's engineering. Although I miss having a higher redline sometimes....it really isn't required. I no longer have to downshift in order to get some torque. I just hit the gas pedal, and off I go. It took some getting used to, but I'm loving it now. The first couple of weeks I had it, I was constantly hitting the redline. It just sneaks up on you so quickly!
I really like how the car pulls. It's very smooth and responsive. No more waiting for VTEC to kick in...it's already there.
The ride quality on the Eibach Sportlines has been great too. I didn't want to slam my car this time around. Just wanted it to be somewhat tighter in corners.
The car is a LOT of fun on the highway. I've had it up to 180km/h, and it still had plenty to go. The gas pedal was still really responsive at those high speeds too. Which I love!!! Another thing I noticed is that, the ride stays very smooth at high speeds. You'd never know you were going 180 without a speedometer. When I hit high speeds in my EG...it certainly felt like it.
Only thing I didn't like about the car at first was the lower redline...but as I said. It just took some getting used to. I love the seats and the shifter. Whenever I'm in my winter beater now, I keep reaching for my shifter on the dash! D'oh! Feels great ergonomically. Very smooth shifts, as expected from Honda.
well..there you have it. If I've left anything out, feel free to ask!
