Question Motor Mount Compatibility

I have a 99 w/ b16a swap and I need new mounts on the passenger and driver side. Just wanted to know would 94+ Integra Motor mounts work since its also a B-series. Not talking about the brackets, just the actual rubber mounts. I just bought some used mounts of another member but it turns out its from a 94+ Integra/ 92-95 Civic. BTW this is for a manual transmisson

Alright from what I have read it doesn't seem like the two mounts I got will work with my setup. Can anyone confirm again?

I was also looking into getting a new set of mounts from Avid Racing.

Only thing is the description as to what I am getting is very clear. It says

Side Engine Mount
Side Engine Bracket
Side Transmission Plate
Side Transmission Mount
Rear Transmission Mount

Now I need the lower passenger side mount and the lower driver side mount. Can anyone verify if two of the mounts shown are the lower mounts I am talking about? Kind of confused as to what exactly the AC mount is I was thinking maybe its that lower mount on the driver side by all the belts.

Yeah I was going to stick with OEM.. but to buy new OEM mounts I could just get new upgraded mounts and for cheaper.

Ok UPDATE *** I think I am on drugs... correct me if I am wrong but isn't an "AC Mount" Just a mounting bracket and not an actual rubber mount?

bracket 1 is the compressor bracket (ac mounting bracket) as you can see in the picture it goes thru the torque mount and then bolts on from inside the inner wheel housing.

^^^^^

That definetly clarifies the AC mount question Thanks Team Rukus.
Now I need to replace Mounts 9, 8 by the looks of it #20 is the upper mount. Can anyone tell if the Avid mount in the picture above include 9 and 8?

avid mounts in the picture do not come with the mounts your looking for.
the mounts that are in the pic you posted are upper motor/tranny mounts.
you need torque mounts that come under the frame rail.

If you want those torque mounts, get Jim Fab ones. Or, OEM replacement.

Thanks everyone for the help... I guess I was way off, I'll look for some Tourque mounts and check out the Jim Fab Ones you are refering to Nova. Nova did you get the torque mounts through Jim Fab's Website?

anyone know where you can get these or somethig similar from locally? I might just check out the price from Honda. But if they are more expensive then the Jim Fab ones then I'll forget the OEM ones.

Yes I am using JimFab's front torque mounts with Hasport engine mounts.

No complains. And I bought it from Jim Fab's website. He is also on Honda-Tech I believe.

I got mine about 95 dollars shipped via USPS package.

If you are just going to drive your car daily and not track the car i would recomend just replacing the torque mounts with oem ones because with the upgraded ones from jimfab you will experience more vibrations from the engine.

Yeah I am definetly looking into just getting the OEM ones.. Just need to find a price on them tomorow. Now since I bought the upper Right (Passenger Side) transmission and Upper Left Engine Mount (Driver Side) could I still use these with my setup? The two mounts are from a 94-00 Integra now from my research these mounts should also work w/ a B series swap into 92-95 civic or 92-95 DOHC del sol but it doesn't mention a 96-00 civic with a B series. Why would this mounts not work on a 96-00 B-Series Civic if the engine is the same?

I am looking at the diagram and I see the right upper tranny Mount #20.. but where is the Left upper Engine mount? Or does it not exist?

The upper tranny mount on an 96-00 is different than the eg and i believe the integra aswell. The mount from your MT D series tranny should bolt right up to the B series tranny no problem. The Drivers side upper is different aswell in the 96-00 compared to the 92-95 and integras. For the Drivers side you reuse the mount attached to the chassis and the bracket that bolts to that and you will need to replace the actual mount that bolts to the side of the engine with one from an SiR (unless yours is already from an SiR 99-00).

for a straight drop in into the EK chassis you need numbers 7, the piece thats at the bottom right corner of the picture and if you want to retain your A/C you will need a B20 or Del Sol VTEC A/C bracket. All the rest of the mounts/ brackets can be re-used in a MT EK
