Kent you are allowed to hire a lawyer... and yes I found out I was wrong it's 10 grand in small claims and if they don't pay they will be found in contempt of court which is a crimial offense.....

Honestly ... i donno.... i don't see how it's all JPG's fault... i'm with anthony on this one, they fulfilled their end of the deal...
cuz here are the facts as I see them (feel free to correct me or add some in if i'm wrong)
1) JPG's driver smashed up Kent's car
2) JPG and Kent agreed to not go through insurance (which probably benefits Kent more than them)
3) JPG paid to have it fixed
4) Kent went to pick up the shop and signed off the the repairs were completed to his satisfaction...
those are four killer points, and don't forget that if you lose in court they can file a counter suit so you'll end up paying for your laywer and theirs... talk to a paralegal if you'd like but i think over all you got screwed or set back by a number of things
1) the shitty job that shop did
2) signing off on the repairs
3) not going through insurance in the first place
there's no reason JPG should pay twice IMO
and i honestly can't see how a shop would pay for a rental car for you... sometimes they give out loaner cars which are cars that they own... i donno sometimes it's good to get everything in writing before you act on it, it's better to ask permission than forgiveness in cases like this.... either way i'm with ya Kent and i hope you figure this out, but ranting and raving will never get you anywhere and people won't take you seriously. Just remember to stay calm and deal with your **** for yourself.

JPG paid to have the car fixed.. but they paid a shitty shop and I think it's bullshit how much they paid. Exclusive Car Care said they paid $2400.. then JPG said they're taking $300 x 10 weeks of pay from the guy who crashed the car... that's bull ****.. cuz that's $3000... I bet they only paid $1000 or so... IMO.
I signed off on the repairs because Peter @ Exclusive Car Care said the bumper would fix itself after baking in the sun for 3 or 4 days.. and I assumed everything else was perfect.. I was unaware of the hidden damages... (bumper cracked and just painted over... Peter lying about the bumper). Also.. I am not a qualified Honda body technician. I do not know the body of a Honda as well as a certified Honda technician. I can sign off on anything and it can be proved wrong.
JPG has declined paying anymore... and that's fine. Philip said for me to go to insurance to claim.. so I said ok... and asked him for his insurance company but he declined giving me it. That is illegal BTW. You are by-law required to release your insurance company name in a civil matter like this. Also how am I to claim insurance if I don't have his insurance company name?
