Mornin gents and ladies.

Hmmm... I still didn't get that coffee!!!

Got a question for y'all. Somebody named "1FSTCIVIC" is posting on the Toronto (Great Lakes Forum) of LS1.com, and talking some massive trash, and will not step up to his claims.

Anybody have an idea of who it is? May be giving you respectable non trash-talking Civic guys a bad name. (Hows that for a guilt trip!).

Find out! His sig:

"12 second Civic SiR
Nothing ordinary about THIS Civic..."

I would give a big handshake if he stepped up to the offer I responded with, but all excuses once somebody stepped up. One thing I know about your club is that, that rarely happens with you guys. This is why I doubt he is part of your group.

BWT, to that turbo Civic guy who wears the trenchcoat. Unreal car.

welcome back

to my knowledge at least, the 1FSTCIVIC username isn't on our boards. I can't guarantee that they don't post because they may be using another name.

anyways, we don't seem to have anyone like that on here yet I'll keep a lookout

BTW, I've been meaning to give a shout out to the considerate actions on the road last Sat, around 9.50 am.

I was EB on Sheppard going towards Don Mills, when a black Civic pulled in front to merge into my lane from a side street.

I pulled off the throttle to let him get in front, which he in turn flash his hazards to thank.

I think you'll find not all civic drivers have big stuck up "im faster than you attitudes" and that most are normal guys, who act normal no matter what the other person drives.

I think those "im faster than you" civic guys would be that way no matter what car they drove.

welcome. btw I love Camaro's, too bad they stopped making them.

Cannot make it tonight. G/f and I are celebrating 4 years. We're going to our fav. Indian restaurant downtown, Kama.

What is Commerce Gate and the Second Cup you speak of?

Damn dude, from what I read, you're no-Civic. Thats sucks hard.

Crap timing with the insurance and theft coverage. Amy and I were at that theatre just last weekend..... makes you think twice.

Cam,

Nice to see you posting again. I think I am one of the few members (only?) to be able to say I belong in both the Civic Club and F-body club. I still have to join TFBM. The T/A will be going for hibernation after I give it a good wash this weekend. I got my steelies on my winter "beater" Civic SiR. Have you got out your (ex-Ken) POS 323 yet?

Have you heard about Ken's misfortunes? He probably regrets selling you his old POS Mazda.

Congrats on your 4 years...that's a long time man. You gotta tell me the location of that restaurant. Hope to see you at CG sometime.

Mark

The 323 is in Barrie right now. As an instructor at a racing school, we teach classes until the end of Nov., which allows me to hit the track(s) in the Zed. Last week we were at Mosport with the students. I keep my car out ot play for that reason. I suspect by the last week of Nov., I should have the beater out.

Ask Ken about "the Subaru". I'm sure he has no regrets with parting with the "Mazduh".

(BTW, anybody have experience with that 1.5L motor? I think my valve seals are going. I hope its not the rings, however)

Kama is located beside the Royal Alexandria on King St. They validate parking below Roy Thompson Hall. You have to look closely as they are below streetlevel, and you walk down a small flight of stairs to get there. It was a fantastic buffet. Thx. for the congrats.

I'll be out in the beater in the winter for sure.

Somebody have a "type R" sticker for it?
