millage check.

I bought my 92 Civic with 175,900KM on it..
Swapped the motor which had roughly 60,000km on it..

Now the odomotor says 182,637KM
1600km on motor since it was rebuilt a few weeks ago.

heehee- keep ittill it dies? you have a LONG time ahead...
my list of civics (I'm close to em all)

1st - 87 - picked up with 160k MILES in 98 - to dates has 250 and still going strong.. all original except the driver's seat

2nd - 89 Si - picked up in 00 with 200k - written off summer 01 by a buick with 276K

3rd - my current baby - 93 DX - bought with 234K sept 01, at 286K now - engine goes in soon

best one i know of though - my friends 87 - his odo turned over -too bad the body was rotted off.

Got mine Jan 2, 2000 with about 140,000km got up to 200,400km now. I drive way too much. I'll probably just put a Taxi sticker on it soon

Okay I get it now. Mine had 30 something on it when I picked it up.

Hi guys, first post.....I'm a newbie to the board, but not to Civic's so......yah.....

My 1993 EX Sedan has 91,111. Low cliks for such an older year...but she has been babied since day one.

I think that that's on the high side, yes. Most people figure the average is 20,000 clicks per year so 80k for 3 years would be a tad high IMO.

I actuall bought it new in dec98, so it's been 3.4 years now. still a bit above average.

It depends where it was drove. If it was driven all around Whitby/Ajax/etc, it would be high. However, if the owner drove back and forth into downtown TO everyday, it's not really that bad...
