meet

If I might, would just like to share this info with you, and maybe Admin can confirm if this is still the way things are.
This was generally the standard set by TCC Admin (was told it was because the "Toronto Civics Club" name was attached to the 'official' meet).
If there has been a change in this, my apologies .
Here are some fairly recent posts on the matter that might help clarify:
Our weekend Unofficial West End Meets in Burlington were labeled as such, and permission was granted to a Mod (or representative) to post it, by the Admin.
However, in no way did that prevent other gatherings from taking place, just not with the 'TCC Meet' title.
This was explained further here:
To the Admin, hope this was conveyed properly, and to our newer members, hope this info was helpful.

Official toronto civic meets are on wednesdays at tim hortons on victoria park and o'connor.
Wednesday, Oct 8, Official Toronto Civics Meet - TCC Forums - Toronto Civic Club
Westend meets are unofficial but sometimes can get very big (25+ cars) and usually on friday-saturday-sunday.
if you want to set up a westend meet you'll need approval from a mod or admin before posting one.

There's Timmies in Malton (Goreway & Derry - Just off of the 427 north). Been there enough times for hours at a time with the honda family. Never been bothered by cops.

But the cops usually only gave tickets to the little ricers that did burnouts in the parking lot, or ripped their cars down the lot at 100km/h just so everyone can hear their overly loud fart cannon.

I used to go 403/Dundas every Wednesday for 3 years straight, it's a great spot. Yes there were police there on several occasions.
