Kia Rio "Type R"
hahaha i laughed soooooo hard when i saw this car in a parking lot.....
a kia rio, with cleared out headlights, and obnoxiously bright blue turn signals, side markers, and foglights ( the car was red btw
) tinted windows, lowered on canadian tire , cheap *** "chrome" plastic wheel covers, some half *** exhaust.... and cleared out tail lights
BUT the best part...
The "Type R" and "Powered by Mugen" badges on the back
hahaha...... i got a good laugh from that
some people just try too hard....

C'mon guys the chrome hubbies add a touch of class to my otherwise KDM (Korean Domestic Market) ride. 
J/K, I don't own a Kia, or live in the GTA for that matter, so...that was in fact not me (for the benefit of the noobies).

Where abouts did you see this? There was a guy who went to my high school (Meadowvale Secondary School) who had a red kia, and lowered it with rims and a dark tints. I saw him a couple times, and didn't realize you could pimp kia's

I saw a "VTEC Powered Daewoo" at Humber Lakeshore. HKS banner on the windshield, Mugen sticker on the rear window. Huge banner on the rear bumper saying VTEC Powered Daewoo on the rear bumper. Made me chuckle.

In the case of the kia it'd be like me putting "5.0" Mustang badging on my CRX.
But why race? For all you know that lil ricer rocket could be bottle fed.

That's just dumb. I work for Mitsu/Kia and I know that Kias are ****. So many problems with them. But you never know what someone could have under there hood. Just because they have clear tails and a bunch of stickers.

the proper analogy would be putting an AMG or //M logo on a civic. GET IT?
and honestly i dont care if i laugh at someone's car for ricing it up. i'll laugh all day at a KIA that is described above and if they do hand my *** to me i'll STILL be laughing at them.

Hey...Don't take my comments the wrong way. I'm not bashing anyone. If you can run a 12 sec. Daewoo, then great, more power to you. As far as I know, the guy is running a huge HKS turbo setup on his car. To each his own then. I'm not one to bash. I used to drive a Turbocharged Isuzu Impulse, and was laughed at until I handed out asses on silver platters. I just think that the VTEC sticker was a little much. But whatever. Everyone runs fast cars on the internet.
BTW Solid Dx...I never had any intention of drag racing your boy. Not my cup of tea.

Hehe, don't knock the 5.0 emblem...my next door neighboor has a 93 'lude with two mustang (the horse in the circle) emblems on either side of his front fenders...hehehe...Geekracer and OctaneTeddy will tell ya...they saw it too...I was scratching my head at the time wondering what possessed him to do that to a Lude...hmm....I can just see it now: 1993 Prelude Mustang.
