just a lil question take a look.

alrite i was thinking of gutting the back half of my CRX. but i wasent to shure on out canadian or ontario laws about that. if someone could clearify this woith me it be sweet. just tryen to shred some un needed pounds. my girlfriend is like 100 lbs so im tryen to lose 100, lol

basicly all i want to know is if im going to get is **** with the cops if my car is gutted?

well in my experience you can get away with without any issues. If you do get pulled over though the police will harrass you asking where you interiors is most people just say its in the shop getting finished.

reasons why not to remove your interior
100 pounds - 1/10th of a second faster on the quarter mille = big deal
noise - exhaust/ road noise is increased.
storage
Damage - certain components become exposed
Looks - it starts to look and feel like your driving a $hit box.

Give it a try but make sure that if you dont like it you can reverse it.

I agree...particularly on a car as light as a CRX, there is really no reason...you'd save like 30-40lbs IF YOUR LUCKY...not worth it...

Unless you're doing some serious mods and tracking it, it's pretty pointless. However, here's a nice thread. The thread applies to an EH hatchback but you get the point.

Isn't the back of a CRX mostly plastic anyway? There are no seats, so I can't imagine a bunch of plastic pieces would really weigh that much.
