Is CX is likely to only have power brakes in those years, unless someone possibly purchased the option for a/c. My 1991 CX had no power options whatsoever when I bought it. The CX is the lowest end civic you can get. Oh and welcome to TCC and the EF/ED crew.

I wouldn't worry about the power steering, I have the same thing on my 89 cx, and those cars are light enough its not that bad.....

Its true, especially with the small stock tire size. And plus as a benefit you get alot more steering feedback once you get moving. You more connected to the road in a sense. You'll understand what I mean once you drive it. Oh yeah and dont listen to your friend, decide for yourself.

I don't even noticed the lack of p/s in the beater, in my summer car i took it out and replaced it with the manual rack!

If you restored the car back to mint condition then you'd be lucky if you got $1800.00 for it, believe me when I bought my Civic it was near mint and I payed $1500.00 for it. Trust man just fix up the car and drive it around for a few months, you will learn to love it!

forgot to add...i would love to keep the car for myself, since it would be the first car we bought(me and my bro), the problem is that insurance is gonna be high for 2 17 year olds 2dr hatch...most likely is gonna be high and we r twins too. plus i dont have enough space in the drive way cuz theres 3 on and 1 in the garage...i can fit 4 but the problem is my dad drives a limo so my dad doesnt want to move a car every morning...so yea...i think it might be a buy and sell, start making a business doing this. We done many cars and everyone has been very happy with our jobs, so if u guys need jobs done on ur car big or small, body or mech. ask me through email thejattman@hotmail.com i will get u great low prices and great jobs

jattspeed

Thrill_House man i love looking at ur car...u got to send me some big pics of the car
