This is just amazing!
Wow... It's great to have found you guys. I saw a TCC sticker on one of the Honda's at the Performance World car show tonight and just had to check you all out.
Here's the scoop about me. I *HAD* an '88 Nissan Sentra station wagon. (Yes, they actually made them) It was probably one of the rarest cars on the road. I have never seen another. That is probably because it was the *UGLIEST* car on the road, but when you can drive to Niagra Falls and back on $25 bucks in gas, you can't really complain too much. Well, as nice as it was, it didn't really like being taken up to 140km on the 401. I know this because the engine went *POP*... hehehe. I *would* have been upset, if it wasn't for the fact that I was only planning on keeping it for another 4-6 weeks, then I was going to replace it. It had too much rust damage to the frame to make it worth repairing and fixing up. It didn't owe me anything, it cost me $1,200 and lasted me 2 years. The body looked solid and it treated me well. May she rest in peace (in the form of the little cube she is in.)
So, right after blowing up my car, I got terribly sick with the flu. It took me down for 2 weeks. Since I was sick, I left it up to my brother to find me a new car. He is a new car salesman and has lots of great connections. What he found me was a 1991 Honda Civic 3dr Si (5 speed). *CHEAP*REALLY CHEAP* When he showed it to me, I looked at it and said *meh* sure. I was so sick, he could have showed me a hay eating mule with fleas and I would have been "sure, looks good".
Took me about a week to get it certified, emission tested, and plates changed over. It's an American car. Gauges are all in miles, not km's. I have a great friend who is a mechanic, so I had the thing up on the hoist, and there is NO RUST TO BE FOUND ANYWHERE!!! I was shocked.
Anyway, I've been driving the car about 3 weeks now and I totally love it. It's been a long time since I've wanted to fix up a car and show off, but this little baby is going to get done up a bit. I'm so glad to have found this forum. See you guys at some meets!

CAI is nice for the sound and you'll feel a little peppiness from your car but if your looking for performance id look into a swap or just get a cheap short ram intake

4th gen Si with a/c isnt rare...many of them had/have it...if it still works thats rare...I tore my a/c system out of my 90si cuz it didnt work, makes the engine bay crowded and hard to work on...4th gens are prolly the best lookin generation, but thats just me
