Input and possibly a favour?

So I went to Pacific mall to meet a seller and pick up some rotors and hawk pads. He lowered the price of the package since I was doing all the driving which was agreed upon. I bought the parts and went home to get a call later that the hawk pads were not in the box and that oem pads(i looked saw pads and don't know the difference) were in there. So I let him know that I want the hawk pads but shouldn't have to drive back out there since it wasn't my error and he tells me he's not going to do that, if i want the pads I have to take another 200k trip.

So here is where the possible favour comes in. If I can get him to take the pads to a meet out that way, does anyone from the Hamilton area go that could pick them up for me?

dude I live near Pac mall...

I also happen to be going through Hamilton (Stoney Creek to be exact) Saturday morning, and Sunday Night.

PM me and the person selling and me and I can offer transport since I am going that way.

by the way you should become a paid member

They expect you to drive out there to meet them again for a mistake they made? Screw that!

Sure, the person did call you and admit to the mistake of giving you the wrong parts. But, they made the mistake and you should not be responsible for correcting it.

If they don't want to make the effort to resolve the problem by bringing you the correct part, I would demand my money back.

IMO, that's no way to do business. It's their mistake, they should go to any length to correct it. That's how you do business!!

well in all honestly I don't blame the seller, he obviously does not have the means to drive out to Hamilton otherwise he would have met halfway the first time. In any case the easiest solution would be for him to ship them. Be glad that atleast the guy was willing to be honest and give you the right product rather then some other stiffs out there.

He does drive, he just didn't want to be bothered meeting halfway so he reduced the price which is fair to me. Your right though, there are a lot of scammers out there that would haven't said shiat.

As stated I did look, I don't know the difference as I've never seen them before. Gatherer is going to help out, which I will say thanks again for that.

I'll help out but the seller hasn't called me to confirm a pick up time from him. if he doesn't I can't get the pads into my hands to get them to you when I go through your neck of the woods...
