73 in 50? I don't know what to say but when you gotta slow down, you gotta slow down.

yea why would you speed in a 50 anyways? Thats just asking for a raping.

BTW your insurance IS going to go up. I know from experience, and I've been totally clean for 4 years since my 'incident'.

Something I heard regarding passing yellow light:

If you cruise through it, then you are fine. IF you speed up to pass the yellow light, you are fucked if you get caught.

I got stopped for this once (speeding up to make the yellow) at 5 in the morning to take my wife to work. Copper let me off but informed me that it was considered the same as running a red light. red light=fucked

problem around Hamilton is that the yellow's are so damn short and there is always double lane traffic so it's such bullshit

Your insurance won't see this new ticket unless/until you are convicted of the offence. So you got the ticket July 21/2003. You fight it, say get a court date March,2004. Worst case your convicted, then the ticket goes on your record. Next time your insurance checks your record they see it. So if you renewal is say December 2003, they won't see this ticket since you were not convicted yet.

Hey i feel u bro,
when i first got my G2 (February 2000) right this was the earliest i could get it, 8 months after i turned 16 wooowoo..
but anyways i got a ticket for careless drivin blah blah ****, 30 over in a 40 running a stop sign... then i got into an accident in october, and a driving left centre ticket (which was droppeD)

but ne ways to make a long story short, i just recently got pulled over for no reason at all cuz i left a parking lot with cars in it and i m a teen, thats what the offer said to me... but i was slapped with 3 tickets, 2 of them r probably what u have, dirvin with out proper insurance (I believe $110, insurance doesnt care about this one), driving with out ownership ($90, they dont care about this one either). but ur speeding i think thats a 3 point ticket, which they will care...

but best of luck...

BTW: my last ticket with those 3 was driving without a liscence...

if you're so worried about getting tickets and your insurance finding out there's one solution: DONT SPEED. it's pretty simple actually.

It's the fact that you got a speeding ticket that raises insurance rates. Yes, with more points the insurance will go even higher but even getting caught for something minimal like 10km/h over the limit will raise your rates. Unfortunately, I also know this firsthand.
