So 2nd of Dec, and sign ups are only open till week prier to 2nd Dec, so last day would be 25th Nov for sign up. because the way list is expanding every min, i think thats long enough time for everyone to sign up, plus we need to reserve at least week prier to 2nd Dec.

sounds good?

now lets deside on the location

Why Dec. 2nd and not Nov 30th?

(it doesn't really matter to me, I'm just curious why you changed dates man)

And yes either dates is fine with me. It looks like we have a whole bunch of guys coming! I think when we call we should tell them to book off a whole room for us. I bet we'll end up having 30+ guys/gals. Hopefully if they sign up, they will come.

I think we add to it..
its a dinner gathering of friends.
its not an offical toronto civics club dinner meet.

also friday is definately a better choice.

THE OFFICIAL CUT OFF DATE WILL BE

NOVEMBER 28th (thats the monday of the week of the dinner)
I will call the Mandarin location that is the closest to the winner side and Book the tables needed for the people who are listed.

Any person who is going to come after the cut off date may not be able to sit with us but we can try to arrange tables for you.
Also if anyone from the list is NOT going to make it make sure that you Relist the UPDATED list without your name.

Also if you have a friend or loved one comming along or wish to have them come along with you ad a PLUS sign to your name and the number of people comming with you not INCLUDING you.

the OFFICAL date of the Mandarin Dinner gathering is
DECEMBER 2nd 2005.

depending on which side wins on MONDAY of the 28th. We will then set out new plans to have a premeet like last time and meet at the Mandarin closest to the winning side.

Glad to see this is organized.

The two choices for Mandarin are 403/dundas and queensway. Correct?

EDIT: Here are the links to the locations of both the choices.

403/Dundas

Queensway and Kipling.

Just one comment on this. We had an event at Mandarin a couple of years ago and I believe they have a time limit of 2 hours or so. Someone might want to confirm that because if some people are late, they will have a short time to eat. I guess this way, you can plan for what to do after because the time you finish eating will be fixed.

I believe it is 2 hours to eat. But if some people are late.. then they're late. That's their problem. Maybe when team_rukus calls, or whoever calls, we can try to talk them into giving us 3 hours to eat.

Even some other oriental buffet or all-you-can-eat has 2 hours limit. That's one thing good about KBBQ, you sit down and you own the seat.

But for me, 3 plates maximum at Mandarin and I will be done in an hour or so anyway :P
