I think TCC needs a new forum
#7
TCC doesn't have enough user volumn to keep up these many forums.
The most visited is For Sale Forum, then Chit Chat, Discussion and Performance. Then Exterior and some Interior (these 2 can be dead for days and only has 1 or 2 threads).
Member's forum is low flow cause, we don't have enough members to occupy that forum. That's the fact.
More forum needs more frequent people online, like 24/7. This is a local forum so after 11pm or so until 9 in the morning, there will be no online traffic, or very little.
With the goal set by the Admins, that is, to monitoring the site all the time, more forum will increase their work load. That just means they need to frequent more forums than before, with roughly the same amount of users.
If you want to post videos and media and whatnot, just use Chit Chat. You need to heat up one particular forum first, to get the ball rolling, to have more people online at the same time - then you will heat up the rest of the forums and have more paid members and maybe then, just maybe, there could be one or two more forums.
Look at Honda-Tech, it took them almost a year to establish the new Welding/Fabrication Forum because there are enough threads about it, and look how fast it gets filled up.
You have a new media forum today, and by the same day next week, you will get, maybe 100 posts, and other forum will lose 100 posts all together.
What's the point?

Well, I just saw a car video get deleted from Chit Chat the other day. Reason why, "No track, No Video". So there goes that idea, cause 90% of videos arent on the track.
Also Iam only a guest, but why all the bandwidth wasting talk when you guys say you have more to spare then HT. I have never seen a site talk so much about bandwidth with locking peoples post and stuff, with tons to spare. What is the reason why HT site is among the most popular? Freedom? Or is the FREE membership?

hey, man they have plenty of respect for non-members there cool with me for one thing.. don't forget all the other forums.. have so many sponsors and everything...... that pays for there forums to be kept up... These forums don't have alot of traffic, thus they probably don't have alot of sponsors so the only way to keep these forums up is by people paying 30 dollars for a year.. I don't see the big deal it's 30 Dollars... I will become a member when I get a car, and you also receive discounts...
