i saw an ad " $3,500 cert. or $2,750 as is. "whats that mean???

i saw an ad " $3,500 cert. or $2,750 as is. "whats that mean???

whats the different between them?

I believe it means that if you want to buy the car e-tested and already safety certified then the price is 3500 but if you are going to do it yourself then the price is 2750

Ya, take it to some place, pay $40 to get an estimate of the work required to pass a safty. When I bought my 1st saturn it needed $800 worth of work just for the safety, and another like $500 to pass emissions. I did it all for like $250 myself... Then when I was selling it, I dished out $500 for a new exhaust. but that's all it needed for a safety.

I would never buy a car that wasn't cer tand e-tested. You don't know what it might need.
