I cant believe..(honda jacks)

Um ok i just was on honda-tech. Theres a thread on "dont you think honda jacks are hard to use"

one guy commented.."yes they are, 1/2 turn, take out the rod, 1/2 turn"

everyone agreed with him.

ok? well, i dont know where to start..but PLEASE tell me TCC members are more educated on "how to use a honda jack"

a lot of my friends still havent figured out the secret to them, and theyre giving out car advice..

u use the tire iron part like a handle and crank away like on a pulley...super easy to use

basically u hold the skinny (hubcap remover)...part that attatches to the jack...then hook up the wrench part to the skinny part and then it forms a handle and crank...voila!

It doesn't work all that easy with a lowered car, because the iron bar will hit the ground so you have to crank it on an angle, which makes it a little uncomfortable. But still, easy to use.

simple things like tire changing and checking of oil should be part of your driving test

yeah, my old car didnt' come with the hook part and i was like why is this so dumb? but then when i got the new one and it had the hook included it realized it was genious. Way better than GM jacks, or atleast from what i know, maybe they've revamped them...

go HONDA !
