you spun a bearing, get off your ego trip. People spin bearings in 130whp motors (like i did) and in stock d16's all the time.

I have a k20a (itr motor), had minor bolt ons at one point, couldn't touch mid 13s, and i'm a really driver. Sure its possible but then i'd have to strip my interior, slicks and so on... whats the point of it then?

Does it really matter how fast you can go with a B, H, or K when you are making **** loads of compromises to go that fast like having no interior, a/c, ps and so on? I can easily hit 12s if i wanted but then my car would be a drag car, not a daily driver.

My point is, to go 12s in B, H or K, you'd need more than just a swap with minor bolt ons to the point that there's no point and you're making compromises to go that fast, UNLESS you want to build a drag car. Instead i'd just spend the $$ to buy a car thats fast stock, and make it even faster with minor bolt ons without any compromises.
I have enough money to make my car a 10 second car easily, but i'd rather not go that far. Its impractical and pointless for me to be that fast with all those compromises on a daily driver. but mite make sense to someone else.... its all a matter of personal preference. I'd rather be seen in a higher end car then a civic that hit 12s on the track.
i can easily name one, matter of fact i can even take you for a ride in it and better yet you can even meet the owner. So what if you have a k20r? you wasted your money with that swap. ask any person who has true knowledge of a k swap they will tell you a R swap is only for people who want braggin rights and for people who dont plan on modding the motor. Anyone in their right mind and who is actually planning on modding the motor would go with type s if your talking 2.0L.
And the reason why your car cant even touch mid 13's is because you have a 7th gen. simple as that. you are probably one of a handful of people who even bothered to mod the engine. the best platform for this swap is eg and ek or even a ef and NO you dont have to remove a single nut or bolt from the interior and risk any type of comfort loss.

Unlike you, people who do swaps actually do it for the speed and they dont mind loosing p/s and a/c heck most of them dont even have it in the first place. Like you said sure you might have the money to do whatever it is you want. and believe me so do i but that doesnt make me an idiot to go and spend it on whatever. But what you have to realize is that having money doesnt give you the brains and the know how on how to do the swap let alone know enough about the swap and how to harness all its powers. afterall you had your motor installed by someone am i not correct? how much manual labour have you done on you car? other then change rims? doing things yourself will teach you a whole lot and believe me when i tell you this you will also learn MUCH more about harnessing the full potential of a part then any webforum or book can ever teach you.

oh and for the statement of having a higher end car then a civic that hits 12's that is just plain retarded. a civic is a car, it doesnt matter if 1 person has it or a million people have it. if you dont like it then dont but you dont have to put the car down on a forum especially based on civics. BTW any car you will ever get that is so called higher end will most likely not be able to out perform a civic when it comes to maintanence and reliability and that includes a s2000.

Sorry to burst your bubble but everyone and their mom has a s2k aswell.

P/S and A/C are for grandmas. no need for powersteering in a car that weights 1100kgs, and a/c its hot like 10 days out of the year. and when its snows u cant even tell u dont have powersterring. I rather not have power steering because its feels like im more in control at higher speeds.

holly ****.. you're one of the most closed minded ppl i've seen...

I was actually just stating a fact, not bragging like you do 99% of the time. I actually don't care how fast you can go man.. seriously. You think i wasted my money, but I don't think i did. I'm going into accounting (i'm not boasting, stating a fact just to make it clear, you seem to think ppl boast everytime they talk about themselves). Who are you to judge anyway? I wanna see you pull-up infront an accounting firm parking lot in a suit sweating your *** off because you don't have a/c.

Just because most ppl who do swaps don't have a/c and p/s, does that mean everyone should follow suit? Generalizing... just because its best suited in an EG or EK doesn't mean i wasted my money. I did what satisfies me, not what will satisfy you.

correct?
Uhh... so what? I'm studying, I have a career and am family, i don't even have a single weekened to spare. How do you know that I got the swap done because i didn't know how to? just because i did not do the swap myself means i don't know **** about cars? You're CLEARLY generalizing AGAIN.

Once again, you're close minded... you can't accept other ppl's opinion. I might think you're just plain retarded for the way you think..?

Does your mom have an s2k? So how can you say that as a fact? There are way more civics than s2k's on the streets.

The issue here is simple... just because someone has a different opinion about something than you, you assume you're right. I'm not your mom but take a piece of advice, be subjective and not objective... other ppl's view CAN be different than you... and other ppl do things according to their OWN circumstances, not YOUR circumstances.

Maybe they should have a different section for you on this forum where you can have everyone who agrees with you.

finally, does everyone HAVE to agree with you when your statesments are based on... nothing?

btw...i cant believe you are a vendor here, you go around calling another person an idiot for having a swap done according to their own needs/wants. Nice rep your building...

of course you can...u just have to cut the hood for the pump clearance...

i had a gsr in a dx coupe before...but it doesn't even come close to the k20 i have in my ek...

if u have xtra $$$ to blow get a k...if u don't get whatever u can afford...i got it and i enjoy it so...
