whats up wtih everyone copying me and my shocker sticker over my exhaust...

oh **** back on topic

like i've said before and what many of us agree

K is a nice motor but the time hasn't come for it as the parts cost too much , when K's become as common as b-series then it'll be time to switch over.....
For the same amount of money b's willl always push out faster cause they are cheaper and u can get extras

Where as K's everything is $$$$

when it coems down to going fast, its whoever has the most money can get the nicest ****, the best tuning blah blah blah you'll be fast...

fck just buy a plane... u'll be faster then everyone

I have one over my exhaust, wanna fight about it? lol

BTW, I saw the idea on a T.V show.

anyways, I guess the K is worth it if you like the 6 speed and extra perks that come with it.

I know when I pop my motor, I'm going for something big, maybe it should be a K

why don't you name me a k series that hits 12 seconds with minor bolt ons? You mean a k can hit 12s with minor bolt ons? I don't think so...
I have a k20a (itr motor), had minor bolt ons at one point, couldn't touch mid 13s, and i'm a really driver. Sure its possible but then i'd have to strip my interior, slicks and so on... whats the point of it then?

Does it really matter how fast you can go with a B, H, or K when you are making **** loads of compromises to go that fast like having no interior, a/c, ps and so on? I can easily hit 12s if i wanted but then my car would be a drag car, not a daily driver.

My point is, to go 12s in B, H or K, you'd need more than just a swap with minor bolt ons to the point that there's no point and you're making compromises to go that fast, UNLESS you want to build a drag car. Instead i'd just spend the $$ to buy a car thats fast stock, and make it even faster with minor bolt ons without any compromises.
I have enough money to make my car a 10 second car easily, but i'd rather not go that far. Its impractical and pointless for me to be that fast with all those compromises on a daily driver. but mite make sense to someone else.... its all a matter of personal preference. I'd rather be seen in a higher end car then a civic that hit 12s on the track.

S2K FTW!!!

CIVICS are played out in general, not any series of motors.

Here's a smiley taking a shower:

my D16Y7 pwns you all..lol

but in principle...i agree that it is useless to go hysterical over speed by dropping down 10gs or so on a motor swap. i am absolutely of the opinion, as kasim said too, that that much money should be spent getting a fast stock and perhaps a newer car altogether.

and that is exactly why i personally was never convinced spending any $$$$ on the motor besides maintenance.

You have a shocker sticker?

BTW, it was the wifey's idea to put it on the bumper over the exhaust.

bahaha so do you have a h series motor in your car? or have you ever seen a h series inside a civic?
the clearance between the two shock towers and the motor is virtually none. eliminating clearance between ground and between hood is easy. how would you go about eliminating between shock towers? cut it?

LOL

nah i dont have a k but read the next post and set a date and we will go on from there

I say someone goes 8 grand budget for EVERYTHING on k and b and see who wins.

my talk is cheap? LOL
how about we put both of our cars side by side at the track and see who's talk is cheap and to make things interesting lets do it up for ownerships. but i wouldnt wanna take your leased or financed 06 civic and end up having to pay it.

and to plzbeleiveit i am not even going to bother. you need to re-read my post. i said 6 for the k swap and 2 more to modify it to beat whatever b series you want to push for the price of 8g's.

Who gives a **** about ground clearance, look at the engine bay, Try doing a water pump on one. Hell even my b-series in my ek was a bit tight when I did my tb/wp.
