Turbo! My friend wants to throw in the motor from the RDX Turbo. So i said to him, for the same price you could buy another H22, set it up with a turbo and any other work for pretty much the same price.

just my 2 cents.

there really isn't a decent swap for the prelude, I'd just rebuild the engine you have

My goal is to make it 220 hp AND torque and yes I know getting 44 more ft/lb will be expensive but I have time and a job so I can save

I would rebuild the engine if I knew how but turbo charging would be my best bet

Would a non-vtec block with a vtec header be beneficial??

H23 2.3 16V DOHC PGM-FI 2259 160hp@5800rpm 156tq@4500rpm '93-'95 Prelude Type-S (JDM)

H22A 2.2 16V DOHC VTEC PGM-FI 2157 200hp@7000rpm 156tq@5250rpm '99-'01 Prelude (USA)

I have no idea from here. Though the torque ranges are quite interesting.

As they say, there is no replacement for displacement. :/
