Hey SW Ontario member!
I find the best way to get out there is to show your face at local meets, shows, or just hangouts. Ppl of our sort really just like to talk cars, so if you're around and they hear the name of a new shop, word will likely ******. Also, I once checked out a place that was in the pennysaver, since I was flippin through, and it caught my eye. The Wheels section of your locally distributed paper is a good one too. Also, doing something good or outrageous can get you free publicity in the paper, like if you did some charity bull/ist in front of your shop, or some environemental crap. the paper and let them know it's going on, maybe you get a few words in the paper...it's not a bad way to start off...maybe have a charity BBQ and show/shine for charity in the spring... Maybe Redline will come up to represent.
