gunning

does gunning your car make it slower , due to engine wear......

well if you do it like every minute you drive then yes. but generally it shouldnt be a problem.

I wouldn't recommend you do that, you're engine's gonna be really stressed out if you keep reving up to 7k rpm :cry:

well i haev an automatic, and i do it about a few times a week ,otherwise i drive average,.............liek today my cousin took my car, and was gnning it, nad he did it from 0-100 as a test.......about 3 times ,so.....i was kinda worried that he destrooyed somethiing.......

Keep up with proper maintenance and you shouldn't have a problem. In terms of the engine itself, do oil and filter changes more regularly. Like every 3000k (or sooner). Oil can never be too fresh.

yeah ,its been about 4k, for me. but i can postpond it for a month cause i wanna get it done togehter before emission testing...so i can kill to birds with one stone.......only synthetic oil for me.....
