You can lower your ride about an inch with these shocks. But if you would like to lower it more you'll wanna go with a quality set of lowering springs.

Can I actually use it to raise the back about 1/4"? The tires I want are rubbing on the outside rim of the wheel well. The front seems like it could do with a 1.5" drop

If you want to lower your ride you need to buy lowering springs. These shocks are adjustable with respect to ride damping/performance (i.e. soft to hard); I don't think that they help adjust height (but someone correct me if I'm wrong). If you are planning on getting these shocks and lowering your car, don't drop your car too low as the shocks and springs may bottom out. As well, make sure that whoever installs them reuses the bump stops. I think that one of the main purposes of getting new shocks is to improve traction and handling.

If anyone finds that the info that I have posted is wrong, please feel free to correct me.

Sounds like you might need some coilover sleeves like Ground Control, Skunk, Dropzone, etc. etc to go with the new shocks.... these are height adjustable sping coils... you can set them to whatever you want from a 1" drop to a 4" drop or so depending on model and preference.

I haven't been able to find any info on the Koni web site for height adjustability. I've heard that it's about 0.5", but maybe you can post a link. Thanks.

It's about .5" to 1" difference between the 2 spring perches... these are approximate figures - really not that much of a difference. The heigh adjustibilty is more of a bonus..

koni yellows are adjustable in firmness and the spring can be set on either the higher perch or the lower perch...setting it on the lower perch looks more agressive though

I've only recieved one e-mail so far...we need atleast 5 people to do this, don't miss out on this one

once all five people have e-mailed me( hybridteg@hotmail.com ) I will give directions to come to the shop and drop the deposit...order will be placed may 5th and konis will be in the day or two after

hopefully there will be more GBs in the future except all future GBs are for TCC members only...membership is a pretty good investment if you ask me ...saving hundreds by making that 15$ work for you:working:
