I purchased a Carfax for 30 days... I'm willing to share this with you all so let me know what you want me to look up and i'll get it to ya within a day or so.

nice gesture and all but NOBODY gets my vin..
shyt, ya gotta buy the "buyer's package" to swap plates anyway..

IMO carfax potentially = hi, welcome to my car, my address, my.....hey, where'd my car go???.....

Guess you don't drive around with plates on either since it's pretty easy to find out that way too. Also you must cover up your VIN when your parked since someone could just walk up and find out where it's parked at night that way, or hey why not just steal it then. If somone wants something bad enough they'll get it no matter what.

Ohhh, ic, id like to know that, what kind of info do they need, just the VIN # and make and model?

just the VIN #. VIN will tell you everything about the car: year, make, model and engine.

yes i cover up my VIN..
do i care if that's illegal?? nope
not when, as you say it's so easy to track a person's info thru the plate.... (which to me is a violation of the privacy act)

and should shyt go down, well i have the same insurer you do so...

Im confused about this because I thought SI comes with VTec engine stock but the engine on my car does not even say Vtec on it and im not sure what engine it is.. Im the second owner on the car and it is the original engine..
can someone help me?

^^ There is a SOHC Non vtec engine that most people have i believe....like urself....then there is a si VTEC...but it doesn't come in all si cars....i think...lol...i have an si crx,...and it obviously doesn't have VTEC....
