The price of gasoline* for June 7th-9th will be:



Toronto/GTA 134.9 Cents/Litre*** UP 6.0 Cents
Ottawa 134.5 Cents/Litre UP 6.0 Cents
Montreal148.8 Cents/Litre UP 6.3 Cents

what is driving all this speculation? in one report, they said the futures going to hit 150 bucks a barrel by july 4th..thats 1.7 bucks a litre for me which is rediculous.

in a way....this rise in price may be right i guess. the north american love affair with cheap mid east gasoline has to end so an alternative is developed for the future.

lets see a 6cent increase on my 45L tank is 2.70 more a tank.....hold lets drop everything to save less than 3bucks

its not too bad unless i push it hard alferd. still gives 500k on the tank plus i drive only 10-12K per year

You know the problem with this statement?
Is that people were saying this exact same thing when gas went up to .89/L.
When it used to cost me under 40$$ to fill up my car.
I was happier then when it's costing me almost 60$$.

And also with your statement...
Are you going to be saying that when it hits $2.00/L?
"Oh it's only a couple more $$."

I agree its the cumulative increases that are bad, my point is rushing out to save a few bucks on a tank is useless

gas will continue to go up, so if people continue to say "ohh its just a bit more each fill up" and you think about it like spiderman its a much larger difference over the span of time
