It's probaly all the same but I heard that the low budget ones "may" not have the additives that you need. I don't know if that is true, how much additivies are usually in regular gas? I only see Petro Canada advertises that they have it.

A) Beaver's feul is supplied by Shell. Gas is delivered by shell company and the feul is the SAME.
B) There are only a handful of oil companies in Canada and pretty much the world. In canada there is
esso- exxon mobil
sunoco - own refinery
Shell - own refinery
petro canada - own refinery
Do you think little companies buy bootlegged gas from smugglin saudis or sumting?
Doesn't matter what company a little no name gas station is, they buy from a big company such as one of the ones listed above.
btw, 7-11 is Petro Canada gas.

all you people are posting how you fill up at sunoco because its has the highest fuel octane...
half is not almost all TCC cars are stock besides bodykits, you're motors dont need 94 octane becuase you have an intake
unless you have a Skyline, STi, or somthing retareded that requires 94 octane or a very high compression motor / boost you dont neeeeeed it!
Personaly I get petro / shell / canadian tire and yes sunoco but i dont get 94

I use what ever gas is on the way to where ever i am going at the time, and my runs fine on all of them. My wallet is full of those dam petro points, esso points, bonus bucks from pioneer. The gas companys get there gas all from the same sorce, and them they just add there thing to it, to make you come to them over the other gas companys.

interesting article...
and yes Sunoco doesn't have the lowest sulphur content anymore, and I personally use Shell...
1 - cuz i got the easy pay tag so it's super convenient
2 - they're the only top tier gas in canada right now, which has been proven to keep your engine cleaner..
otherwise i have heard from a few sources (this is before top tier gas) that it's good to stay consistant with a station for like 1000k and then switch...based on the premise that each company has their own kind of detergent that leaves some sort of buildup....
when you switch it's a different kind of buildup, and the new detergent starts removing the old one and starts leaving a new one etc...
