Exhaust flames

Does yous exhuast? shoots flames?

my buddies were following me the other day on the onramp and i let off the gas and it shot a blue flame of good size. lol a stock d16 with an exhaust manifold and no cat

Im going to try to get a vid of it

If the engine is really hot, it will do it, im guessing you have atleast an after market cat-back right? your car could also be running lean.

From what i know exhaust flames shoot out when you have unburnt gas in your exhaust pipe. So basically not a good thing, but cool looking i suppose.

Ya, don't think that'll fly nowadays. It's become way too strict. Hell, that happened during a time when the 407 was free I think - that's probably why I was on the 407. WOW, that was a long time ago. LOL

A bunch of us once saw a Ferrari on 404, increased its speed and started to get smaller and smaller in our windshield and then it shifted gear (I guess) and little blue flames came out the rear from each exhaust.

We were like... wwhhhaaa...... I think I reached orgasm at that point, not sure about the other three guys. But my hands were no where near any one of them.
