EX Wtf??

I'm supposed to go look at a car for sale today in Markham.. But something doesn't seem right. The guy claims its an EX trim model, but it doesn't have a sunroof at all. And on the back of the car it says EX on the right side of the trunk under the taillight.

It's a 2002 Honda Civic 4 dr 5speed. Should I even waste my time going or not?

u can look @ it and have a mechanic take a look but u don't have to commit to anything ever. unless u are easily swayed or fear confrontation, then stay home, drink a beer, and keep looking.

If there is nothing wrong with the car, then what's the problem?

If you want a sunroof, go look for cars with a sun roof...lol.

If you're worried it has been mis-badged, confront the owner about it. See what they have to say.

I think only the American EX's have sunroofs. I have a Canadian EX 4dr, VIN matches the correct chassis code, and I don't have a sunroof. Also, you only get a D16Y7 with the Canadian EX, not the D16Y8 like down south.

Alright thanks.. I'm gonna pass on the car, because I called him yesterday and asked him what year was the car and he said 2001. Then I called him today again and he said 2002.. Really sketchy, but thanks.
