Everyone is so quick to judge...

It is really sad to see that people are so quick to Judge Double B...If it wasn't for him there would be no TCC. Double B is the one who makes sure the bills are paid, the site is running, the management of the bot spammers is taken care of...ect. He does it all and for no return on time invested.

Well actually, all I see him receive is bashing and second guessing of his decisions.

Double B...here is a thank you from me for all your hard work...I know without you there is no TCC

I've been on this site for close to 3 years and just recently (within the last 6 months) I've noticed a lot of members/affils are leaving this site.

Exclamation

My one year date with TCC is comming up, over a thousand posts under my belt; and I must say Toronto Civic Club isn't what it used to be.

I love you guys, buddah, kracker, eletronblue, double b, and all the rest. you've all helped me become what I am today, a grease lovin', wrench holding, VTEC for a heart person I am now!

But with the reasent drama, unessasery flameing at it HIGHEST, and other issues comming up I must say, I don't frequent this board as much as I used too.

It doesn't feel like the family it once was, but something like a foster family.

However this by no means means I'm leaving, but it is a little bit off a wake up call FOR US ALL!

And I really hope some changes are made, because I really do love this place.

Fa1se, I hope you car drive back too you buddy!

why so butt hurt? I mean if you and him know hes doing a good job why do you feel the need to stick up for him? Especially with your whopping 179 posts... you dont really come on here too often yourself therefore not helping your own cause. There are other more effective ways to prove he is useful instead of making a call out thread to everyone.

I know who she is... and I dont care. Its like anything in life, actions speak louder than words. Its easy to speak out about something.... the hard part is coming up with a solution to the situation and acting on it.

I guess you didn't receive much positive reinforcement as a kid. Positive reinforcement goes a long way. Whether its your boss saying you did a good job on your last assignment, or a parent saying good job for getting an "A" on your last report card, it goes a long way.

There are so many ungrateful people on the boards lately too. Like on TI with the christmas raffle b.s going on. Talk about ungrateful. 2 separate shops offering free part(s) on a free christmas raffle and all people can do is complain that "oh its only lugnuts" or "that $180 free strut bar doesn't fit my application".

I'd have to agree that not only this forum isn't what it used to be, but all of the local forums are suffering from this. TCC however is one thats trying to keep things clean with the use of moderators (something other sites could definately benefit from) and I for one think DoubleB is doing a bang up job. If you think it could be done better, volunteer to be a moderator.

First off, Brian is a great, funny and respected person. He is very dedicated to the things he does. I have known some great people from here (TCC) Brian included for last 3 years and have nothing but great respect in terms of things they do for the club.

Someone mentioned "whopping 179 posts"... Just because members are not so visible on the forums, doesnt mean they are not active. There are many things that are been taken care of behind the scene and it takes a lot of effort behind the scene to keep the forums and club going.

Nothing is ever gonna be perfect, just because of 1 or 2 issues (which TCC as a club has not part of in anyway) are going on with certain individuals that does not warrant for the poor judgments that some individuals are passing. Sure everyone is intitled to have a wrong opinion and no one can control that.

Few users have also mentioned that lately there is bashing/arguing etc towards other members, no one can control an individuals thoughts, their believes and what they want to write about on the internet. People are so sensitive and emotional on the internet and many users does not know or met one another outside of this forum but they are the first one to pass judjemnt on the others.

All an all I think Brain and others are doing graet job and keeping this club going.

i agree... doubleB seems to be doing his best to run a tight ship

unfornately you also have to look at it both ways.. i used to love this site... now..not so much now, and it had nothing to do with False and his car.

chit-chat is always the same crap....

the motorcycle section is dead to the point it should be shut down...
a lot of other sections suffer from low posts.

im going to agree that as time goes on, im turning to other sites more than I do to TCC. I used to support this site like crazy back in its glory days, now, i don't even mention it to other civic drivers i meet.

maybe we (collectively) can figure out how to make this site what it used to be.

if i were you brian, i would sell the site and get what you can out of it...
cause at this rate its doing to be dead shortly.

I dont mind the way its going... I think what hurt is making everyone sign up again. I think you guys are doing a much better job at letting things flow and knowing when to jump in.
