engine install shops?

I was thinking about swapping a GSR or Type R into my civic but my civic came with no A/C originally and was hoping to install with a swap.

Anyone know of any reliable shops in the GTA that will do this with parts and labour included.

save yourself the money and do it yourself if u can deal with the down time and have a space to work on the car (preferably indoors with a hoist)

Only space I have is my garage at home. My work place will let me use their hoists and stuff except I can't leave the car there for more than 2 days at a time.

I checked some of the affiliates , none of them are particularly close to my house. I'd perfer somewhere closer by so I can drop by and check on the car when it's in progress.

Do it urself like "scarlemthug" stated above. Or you can take it to Top Notch Auto....there located in markham on silver star....But I highly recomend "Auto Illusions" there located next to yorkdale mall. (Dufferin/Willson) This shop is higly receomended...I've been to quite a few shops and this is they only shop I trust my car with...there awsome!

If you don't want to do it yourself, we have affiliates on the board as Notorious has said and posted the link that can help you out. Give them a call.

scott newman can do the swap for you aswell. Doing it in ur garage at home is fine, im doing a B18 swap into my EK right now in my driveway so its not that hard just takes time.

If you have access to a hoist it should only take you 1-2 days to do if u have someone who has removed and installed an engine before and you have all the necesarry parts beforehand.

The only major problem i can forsee u having is installing the AC because u need to install the hardlines, all the wiring and everything. This will get very expensive and time consuming.

My advice would be do the swap urself and then collect all the necesary stuff to add AC and do it on a later date. u can install the ac with th engine in the car so no worries about removing the engine again to install AC.
