EG models? im confused someone help!

im looking to buy a civic, the EG ('92-'95). I know what i want but im having a hard time figuring out what model it is. im looking for 4 wheel discs, no abs, no sunroof, the 1.6L engine, and 5 spd. according to a few american sites, that would mean the EX model. but i hear canadian and american models are different. can i still have all that with an EX in canada? thx!

The EX-V model sedan also has the D16Z6 motor in addition to 4 wheel disc brakes, sunroof, a/c, abs, etc. I used to have one.

Im right, i was referring to the US Model EX. The US Model Si = CDN Sir. I know what I was talking about, I just didn't phrase it as US or CDN model.

how about the VX I saw one of those when I got my Civic it has a first Gen Vtec, 5 star honda rims and stuff. Apperantly it is a bad engine cause the Vtec was an experiment at the time.

If he wants 4 disc, then he has to buy a 1992-1993 si hathcback...which will come with 1.6L vtec, and no abs....but it will include a sunroof.

Coupes never came with 4 wheel disc...not even the Si/Ex.

Another alternative is the sedan ex-v...but they are extremely hard to find.

I have never seen an Si without a sunroof it is the way to tell between a real Si and a Dx - Si wannabe. I almost got a EX-V but for some reason I didn't.

The Canadian Si hatchback is also a Si in the states, but the Si coupes here in Canada are known as EX coupes in the states.

i looked it up at work, and going with the 92 model year, to get a 1.6 youre looking for a SI coupe or EX-V sedan

cosmic: my vin says EG8 which is a sedan

EG1 = Civic del Sol, 1.5L
EG2 = Civic del Sol VTEC 1.6L
EG8 = Civic 4 Door, 1.5L
EH2 = Civic 3 Door, 1.5L
EH3 = Civic 3 Door, 1.6L
EH6 = Civic del So, 1.6L
EH9 = Civic 4 Door, 1.6L

so insurgent is looking fo a EX-V sedan (EH9) or an SI coupe
