Hi im a newbie to this forum and as well to cars in general, I keep reading differnt abbreviations for things like eg and ej2 and I have no idea wht the are or mean, ive looked for a nebie definition thread but couldnt find one

it is the vin that identifies the chassis code for the vehicle, usually here you will find that modt people refer to their car by the JDM (Japan Domestic Market) chassis code
i.e
88-91 civic = ef
92-95 civic = eg
96-00 civic = ek
01-05 civic = em or ep
06+ = fg
etc etc etc

Oh ic, it was confusing before but it all makes sense now, jj2ii3344 I had so much trouble figuring out what my car was because before all the cars i saw said dx and all these otehr things and when i searched stuff up nothing ever came up as our model with the written si on the back, and as your tutorial on removing the ugly ciic si sticker, i actually basically did the same thing right after i bought my car which was in january but i used some alcohol.
