do you clean the snow on top of your car??

I'm noticing some people dont clean the snow on top of their car (on the roof), i guess it is ok if you are driving a small car. But vans , trucks , specially when you are driving on the highway , the snow falling from the top can became really dangorous for someone driving close by.

Is there a law or something against this?

I saw an accident today ( small accident but still) because a van had like 20 centimeters of snow on top and a big pile fell on the higway making the car behind loose control

That you can still get a ticket for. I was under the assumption that the new law was that you had to clear everything on the car...in terms of build-up. To get ice off the roof, I've found the best way is to turn on the heat in the car for a bit...let it melt it's hold on the roof and swipe it away.

i clean mine everytime.

i've started noticing people on the road who just clean the windshield and side doors
they leave the back windshield covered in snow like they dont' need to know what's going on behind them...it drives me nuts!

Wow, that's some serious ice...I just let the heat from my car melt it as i warm up the car if it's been outside long enough. I dunno dude, it's worked for me.

I just clean a little section off on the driver side of the windshield so I can see infront of me.

Feels like I'm driving a tank looking through the peep hole.

I'm all about safety.

Yes I clean the snow off, including the top of the car - don't you hate it when your driving, and wham, the oncoming traffics snow/ice sheet comes crashing into your lane?

I've seen this done so many times. Mainly in the Pacific Mall area.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves. I can not stand the folks who do not wipe the snow off their roofs. It doesn't take long, but it could save a life. I had a close call one time with an ice sheet that fell off an 18-wheeler.

Not only is it a pain for the people behind you, but it also creates drag on your car.

That f**king drives me up the walls too. They just jump in and turn on their wipers and use their automatic windows to clear off the sides. Lazy f**k! When they get creamed by a GO train will they learn their lesson.
