is this a deal ?? exhaust and mufler

Im thinking of changin my exhaust system in my civic. Its all rusted from the front to the back (except for the mufler which i changed a few months back). I went to zorro mufler and they guy showed the reason i m getting all kind of noises in the front of the car. Anyhow he suggested to change all from the front to the back (except the mufler ). I also want to changed my stock mufler for something with a little performance and sound

Anyhow this is the quote i got

flange sprint kits
converter
ct back mild steel
stainless mufler

price 549 plus tax. He said 600 $ total

Opinions ... suggestion..

after they ****ed the exhaust on my civic 2 times and refused to fix it on the 3rd time.. I'll never go back, or refer them to anyone.

I went to JPG Exhaust in oakville, and i had them install a Magnaflow muffler. It would be a little more you then me, as i know them there, as I get all my exhaust work done from them, but they would still be cheeper then zorro. Just say you want to pay cash.

^^ sounds about right. You can get one ~400 shipped to the border off Hondatech. then just drive down and pick it up. Install looks pretty easy, tonnes of DIY, tho i haven't done it b4...

if you need to change from the converter to the back just get a whole cat-back exhaust system, which will come with a muffler. i know skunk2 is pretty loud because i have one. nice deep tone & loud-ish at higher rpm...

for mine i payed about $430, and theres a place called minute muffler in oshawa. pay cash...they are dirt....cheap.

thanks guys

to be honest i dont want anything too loud. But i want something that still has some sound to it . I just dont want to be pull over as soon as i step on the gas. Loud sound at high rpms its not bad since i dont really drive at high rpms too.

I recently put a stock mufler but it has not sound (like the one i had before) ,

Could some of you guys give me some # so i can call them and go there to see what they have... thanks

I always had great service with Zoro Muffler.
They have done alot of exhaust/muffler work on my previous cars.

It must be you Mark, they hate you!!

I just checked out the 3 muflers you guys mentioned on youtube

APEXi WS2 catback

skunk2

magna flow mufler

Pretty nice. I kind of like the skunk2 sound more , it just sounds a little deeper than the others. although it can be loud at high rpms.

Do you have the number of the place at oshawa?? do they know you ... 400 is a good price, i m not sure if i can get the same price

thanks
