Today @ 6PM at Markham Fairgrounds there is a meeting with the organizers of DKN to help fight tickets issued during the event for ANYBODY that was spectating or participating. They will personally address each one or as many as possible and give free advice.

However, a catalytic converter and blad tires are two things that can easily be remedied and should probably have been fixed in the first place. It sucks to have well organized events ruined by this. Sorry to hear about your ticket.

Darknights was pretty good but yesterday afternoon on my way to Darknights, I got pulled over, cop checked my muffler, engine, tires, and inside my fenderwells. Cop said he could have given me a ticket because I have a little bit of rubbing inside my fenderwells but he let me go. Other than that, the show was awesome!

Sedans: Buddah, that blue 4 door eg (i foget the board name, but it's colin, right?), myself, LordM

Hatches: Tego, S@URN, imported2nv, Cynikal, Thrill_House, SurfOfPink, FirstGenCivic, JEPPA (almost forgot you)

I'm sure I'm forgetting a few. Jamie's Suzuki Bike was there, too.

Great times, I had a blast. Thanks to all Admin and anybody involved in the organization. Things seemed to go of without a hitch.
I forgot BBProductions with his nice EK 4 door.

thats funny since it was YORK region that nabbed you in that road block...

and of course I have to agree with Alex. if you have bald tires and a missing Cat what do you expect?

modified cars are being targeted at these shows. why? because they are modified. why give them a reason and a chance to ticket you? we all knew there were going to be police there. we all know whats legal and illegal.

complaining about gettinga ticket for a missing cat and bald tires when you knew the road block was going to be there is like me going into a Police station to rob everyone.

Am I the only one that thought it sucked *** this year? I thought it was a friggin Rice Fest. Every Civic with Alteezas was allowed to enter. Last year was better IMO. I was surprised by the amount of RHD cars here this year. They should really screen the cars that enter.

I liked the TCC cars, but man, some of the stuff in there was horrendous.

Ya, but you can't expect every single car to be done to your own tastes or whatever the latest and greatest parts trend is. Not everyone can satisfy thousands of people's tastes. You also have to remember that with the scene and trends constantly changing and evolving it is very hard to keep up. People who finished thir cars 3 or 4 years ago are now getting flamed for all of their work because something new and better has come along. Nearly every car is a 'work in progress' so you have to consider that as well.

Just respect the fact that they love their car and take pride in what they do and you'll have more fun.

its people like you that give the rest of us bad names. if the cops checked every car and didnt find any problems maybe they would back off. but if they keep finding bald tires missing cats and other obvious problems were all gonna have to pay the price. keep your **** clean and legal.

whosyodaddy16, let the guy be.... he's just stupid... I mean no cat you diserved what happend to you.... it's not like you have a car which makes 800hp and your in competitions where a cat is really gonna make a difference, but not it's probably a street car, so buy taking off the cat you gain what 5hp? that's a waste and dumb, just get a carsound cat there freerflowing..

I'm more worried about the bald tires than the missing cat.

Both are bad, but how much traction and stopping power are you gonna have with bald tires?

My guess is the bald tires are the result of parking lot burn outs.

Get some tread on there before you kill someone.

the BEST part of DKN was the hotel after party and all the beefcakes walking around the park grounds with no shirts on. at one point i started to follow some of them and matt had to point me in the right direction and wipe the drool off my face. mmm mmm. the hotel was great. if you didn't stay over you missed out! good times for sure. even though I paid for it on Sunday...i was only 4 hours late i think. its all good. i brought coffee and donuts
