Not to bash cops in general but most cops I've encountered are dicks. Especially in the Toronto area. What pisses me off most is that they absolutely do not treat people equally. Last ticket I got was for 134 in a 100 on the Gardiner. Same cop pulled over my friend, who happens to be a) a girl and b) hot and catches her doing 145 on the same stretch of highway, 2 days after me. My ticket read 134, no breaks no nothing. What did hers read? I don't know, she never got one. **** the cops their job isnt that dangerous. They go around giving stupid traffic tickets when I could literally take them and show them 3 buildings where you could buy any drug you want in the parking lot. Of course they are perfectly willing to take interest in the drug activities of high school kids... why? because it isnt risky. Same thing with radar traps. Don't get me wrong, I don't get convicted on speeding tickets because up til now I've been a university student with all the time in the world so I'm not bitter. But this attitude of complete respect for them is bullshit. What crime could that cop in the accident possibly have been racing to stop, Toronto is not a violent city. Did he increase public safety by driving beyond his ability? Absolutely not. I respect cops who catch murderers and spoil drug trafficking and anything else brave and important but traffic cops are a leech on the belly of society.

Heres a question: If more than 50% of the population of a democracy thinks that something is right should that not be the law?
