Oh! Wait a minute. You said it's turbo-charged...
It's got to be Volvo V? then.

Those guys take forevar to develop their shiet, but it comes with warranty.
The car has good torque, but not so good top end (93mm stroke vs 81mm bore). Anything over 5k isn't worth it revving unless you want to hold the RPMs in a corner or don't want to upshift.
Its slower, and heavier than the Maxima, but A LOT more civilized in the bends. AWD helps a lot in high speed corners ... in around ..... oh say 145ish area, where you want muscle through an on-ramp , and allows people to get to Blue Mountain in 1:40 in a snowstorm. Brakes are very strong too.
So far from talking to people, I hear that Volvo builds very strong bottom ends, so thats good. And talking to Volvo Mechanics, I've found out that the car HAD to be detuned because it was kicking the crap out of the S60s. Evolve say they are expecting 325whp without bottom end upgrade. After the upgrades, should boot pretty good.
Bad Stuff: Traction control can never be "truly" turned off and speed limiter is at 210  Volvo charges $103/hr shop rate. My frist and last oil change at Volvo rang up $173 .... with my own oil. Toe-heelin' is very hard because of the pedal setup ... something has to be done about this!!!
Overall I'm happy with the car, if I can fix the traction control, speed limiter and pedal setup, it would be the best car for me. BTW, I have a yellow lab, so I need the wagon setup, and it was a part in my decision making. Now, I just know that wagons rule, you can fit anything into it. Next car a wagon, or a two seater.
Laters.
