I am sorry but I see people of all races who drive mini vans ****ing **** me off on a daily basis (yes I added the gay red to emphasis this) before anyone else. Heaven forbid that it's so tough to put a turn signal on before...turning.

I forget statistics and go by something I trust more and that's my eyes.

Also, I find a lot of 'sloppy' drivers (follow to close, cut you off, don't signal, don't stop at lights/signs, go like 130 on the highway, etc) drive cars like Cavaliers and Sunfires...I find they are far worse drivers then any other kind of car..

I find SUV owners worst the mini van owners...it makes sense, at least the mini van owner kind of thought before they bought a giant car...the SUV owner clearly didn't...

civics get more attention is cause there are way more civics on the road.. every kid and there mom has one, so the % of civics gettin into accidents compared to other cars are gonna be way higher. And for those of you that live in the GTA....of course you're gonna think that chinese people cant drive... same logic.. 9 out 10 drivers are chinese..

Just because you came across it and it so happened that a civic was involved in one this time, doesn't suggest that Civics will be targeted from now on. Last week, there was mention of a tractor trailer and a grand am who killed a pedestrian as well. Does that mean tractor trailers and grand am's are going to be targeted too? Of course not.

By the same token; driving a civic you have a much higher chance of an encounter with a cop than if you were driving a grand-am.

I drive a civic. I've owned four of them so Im not saying driving a civic makes you a bad driver. I was wondering how everyone else felt about these half-wits doing foolish things on the road making it harder the rest of us. A car can't drive itself yet- though some can park themselves- so the blame should always fall on the driver.

i've seen jackasses in all types of cars, but for some reason more of them end up in Civics... prolly an age thing coupled with the cars being seemingly indestructive.

but ya, I've seen minivans doing 160 on the highway, pickup trucks driving on curbs, etc... it's not JUST civics.

From what Ive seen, the worst drivers on the road seem to be old chinese women and old indian women..constantly tapping and riding the brakes, never ever checking blind spots during lane changes. And rich guys in BMWs... always in a hurry, weaving recklessly through traffic. =P

Wowee!!!

This thread has gone way too far...there is way too many idiots on the road. If an inccident has become way too irrational, than it may come to a point to report such behavour on the road. If i see someone driving to a point dangering peoples live...then i would call the police.

If it's a responsible act, then it doesn't matter.

Those with no experience or understanding in high density population do not deserve the right to drive. i have come to a point where i have to look both ways before going through a green light, whether or not this vehicle will turn into a lane with no reason, or for no reason make a turn into an intersection during a green light while on their cell phone. Those who don't wake up before they drive to work or are still half in the bag/fatique, should have much more responsibility.

It Makers me Angers!

Keep your eyes on the road and give respect to truckers and people entering the highway...Remember that drivng is a privilage, just as life.

Heh, well it seems the stereotype is still practiced here. Guess some people missed my point. Oh well. It could very well be that prodominant race is chinese in that particular area you're in - and you saw a chinese person get into an accident...big woopy! To label all chinese people are poor drivers is plain ignorance. And if you want to continue to be ignorant, so be it. But, I will clarrify that poor drivers are found everywhere - doesn't matter the race. But, to be an ignoramis and say all chinese people and only chinese people are poor drivers, is just pathetic. Just cause you've had a bad experience with witnessing or experiencing a poor chinese driver doesn't mean you label the whole race as being poor drivers -- that's just idiotic.

i'm too old for tickets dude. I haven't had an HTA violation in prolly 7 or 8 years. I had a bylaw violation 2-3 years ago when I turned left between 3-6PM cuz a cube van blocked the sign.

so you really think life can be compared to a drivers license... interesting.
