Be careful on the roads this morning!

Hey dudes...

If you're like me and you have summer tires on.. be careful on the roads this morning.. they're real slick.. and they got lots and lots of snow on them!

Just trying to make sure nothing happens... I'm being proactive

The roads, especially intersections, are really slippery. BE CAREFUL.

Are you nuts? I ride my paradas in the snow.. they spin and **** all the time... they can drive in straight lines fine... but turning and **** at high speeds is a no-no. BUt turning at slow speeds is fine.

And the braking REALLY REALLY sucks on snow. I couldn't stop so I left like 20 car lengths in front of me on the highway and ****.

I would have bused but I didn't want to take the chance of getting SARS.

My class was delayed 1 hour.

Also.. another bitch of a problem was ... MOTORISTS DID THE USUAL PASS BY AND LOOK DEAL TODAY!

South Kingsway & QEW .. heading Westbound (away from downtown)... there was an accident...
but the Eastbound was stopping to look! (going downtown)

Backed the entire highway all the ******* way!!!

Thats why I stayed home all day. I didn't want to deal with traffic, and my summer tires are total SHYT on snow.

Didn't really have any problems this morning. At least one positive side to this snow was that I got a chance to see how good my new Yokohama Avid T4's (all seasons) are in the snow. Did pretty good, better than the Hankooks I used to have. It sucks that the roads are all salt covered again though, especially considering the recent rains had pretty much washed most of it away until this morning.

ON my way to work I saw at least 8 accidents. Southbound 427 had a jacknife tractor trailer that took out an over pass sign. The whole thing ripped right off. Lucky it was stuck on the truck and didn't fall on any cars. So many people flipped into the ditch too. They were all upside down. One guy had the roof ripped clean off! It was crazy!

Yeah, it was pretty bad out there. I was walking down my street and nearly slipped on my *** coz the sidewalks were icy!

Luckily, it's all gone now! It melted pretty fast!!

Here in Sauga, the snow seems to have melted away.

I just really hope there is no snow for Thursday.
