Car Show?

Hey guys...I appreciate your comments and sudgestions on the orginization of our event of a couple of weeks ago. Some of you have posted, or emailed to me personaly with helpfull comments. We were intending on doing this event again this week, however my week is crazy and it would be my preference to do it next Thursday Sept 3rd. I would like to ask TCC members if this works. Should be the same type of atmospher...girls, BBQ, cool cars and maybe a few Maple Leafs, and or Raptors to sign autographs and hang-out, (maybe...we have some freinds thier that said they would love to come). Also to take this to the next level....what about awarding show trophies? We could do this if we start charging a minimal fee to have your car entered..ie $5-$10. Have 3-5 catagories, like best mod, most clean, best exotic...... , just a thought. I kind of like the fact that we can all get together with-out spending any money, but I'd like to know what you all think.
Let me know...J.M (Custom Builder)

I'll definitely come down again. Last time was cool. I encourage all the other TCC members to come down and hang out, too. As for the fee..well, I wouldn't have a problem chipping in if the car wash was free again...maybe make it a paid member car wash like last time or something. I dunno, just giving suggestions.

Anyways, I understand that you guys are supplying the barbecue and pop and what not (women are never cheap either...just kidding) maybe take donations or something or search people's cars for all the loose change upon entrance and toss it in a pot for future events...whatever, I'll show up regardless.

A little mini show would be cool but after awhile we would start getting all the sponsored cars coming out and stuff which would outshine just about any car in tcc in a show.

I will definitely be in for the next time you guys organize something.

Jack, is this even held at 3379 Dundas St. W. (Jane & Dundas), your shop location? What time does it start? Reason being I work at Oakville, on Dundas so I might come straight after work.

Today is sunny, wouldn't mind seeing a couple TCC buddies.

Ok, I dug up this previous thread:

Thank you all for your kind words, questions and comments since I joined about 2 months ago. This really is a great club and forum. For those of you who don't know me or what we do, I'd like to see if there is any interest amongst members to have a meet at my place. Next door to the body shop, we have a large parking lot with a car wash. On Thursday nights we do a little BBQ and hang out at our carwash. The guys who ussually come are local. This is not an organized thing...just friends into cars getting together, having a hot dog, and yes free car washes (there is a limit to this:wink I would like to invite all members to come out and show your stuff. If we know how many of you would like to come, I can make sure theres food and drinks for everyone. So thats for this Thursday Aug 12, at about 7:00 p.m to what ever..I't private property so no hassle, as long as we act like adults (you know what I meen). Summer is almost over....if it dosen't work for this week..we can try again on the 26th of Aug. Give me a call or post if anyone is intersted...My name is Jack Martino, business # 416-763-5211. Oh yea..we are at the Dundas and Runnymede area. You might have seen our car wash driving by this area, it's on the south side of Dundas St. west, in-between Jane and Runnymede
So it is at 7 pm, sounds good. I will slowly cruise there.
