Question This is boggling my mind. Can anyone help?

On your license there is a red strip under your picture with little white dots. I have seen people with 3,4,5 etc. WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT MEAN!?!?

It's your driver rating. The more stars, the better the rating. The better the rating, the cheaper the insurance.

I've lost my license twice and I have 5 stars. So much for the rating system. And I know someone else who has had their license for a year and has 4 stars.....any more thoughts.

I've had my license for 10 years and I have a red strip with 4 dots.

I didn't even notice them until now.

It's a rating system. The more stars/dots, signify the the risk you posses......when a cop see's this, he is automatically aware of how far he will go when he pulls you over.

The more stars.......get ready for an interagation.......no stars.....you're on your way.

Is this true? Go ask a cop and find out.

Don't think so. My brother never had a ticket in his life, been driving for like 7 year's and he has just as many star's as I do. And don't ask about my record.

hey alan
i second that thought
my sister has g licence and she has 4/5 stars with the red stripe, and she has never had a speeding ticket nor an accident and she's been licenced for 5+ years.
so i'm not sure
i think its just b-cuz you have 5 years experience and you can drive with a g1 licenced driver.

I remember PULOVR saying this before. But I know people who have better and worse driving records than me, and have the same number of white dots

Couldn't be...mine hasn't been replaced, and I've got 4 dots...maybe it's just to screw with us....that's what it is, they're just screwing with us Or maybe it's a tracking device like LoJack.

That has to be bullshit because I have had only one speeding ticket and that was a no-demerit one. I've also only had one accident (over 6 years ago) and I wasn't at fault. I would say that makes me the opposite of what you're saying Alan.

I don't believe that's what they're for.

Anyone else have an idea?

P.S. Since when did start being spelled with only one "t"? The correct spelling is "ditto"!
