Bodyshop around markham area hwy7 and mccowan

Looking for a good bodyshop around the markham area, looking to mould my 02 SIR front mugen lip with the bumper and sprayed and maybe fix a bit of surface rust on 1/4 panels (very very little).

Anyone know a place that does good customization

Barry is a good friend of mine. They are good with Honda and Acura's. Try to give them a call and arrange something. =D

Velocity

I had two Civics re-painted at Velocity, and I wouldn't recommend a friend to that shop.

Have you ever heard of the "orange peel" effect? That's when you don't let the base dry enough, and clear coat over it... I had a brand new hood, and front fender replaced... so all they had to do was paint them VSM.

No - I get orange peel effect instead. And $700 is what Tim charged me too. Not like I'm getting a smokin deal either.

Tim tries to make it up to me, and offers to repaint another Civic of mine for a smokin deal... Just the front half of the hood as its got chips from stones on the hwy. I get it back and its all dusty.. no biggie, so I go home and wash it a few days later... and show another paint shop and find out he used acrylic paint instead of base and clear.

Instead of a smokin deal, I get a crappy paint job... so instead of dealing with Velocity, I have given my $$$ to other reputable shops instead.

orange peel doesnt come from not having the base dry proper. base only takes 5 mins to dry (it takes more time to mix the clear and crap). Orange peel is natural and you get it in every paintjob (heavy orangepeel) is however due to improper knowledge of how to paint and not cleaning the gun properly and not having a proper painting environment. to have zero orange peel you have to wetsand the finishing and polish it.

I wouldnt recommend Velocity. Having to find out that my front bumpr was painted there..

parts of the bumper started to flake (ie IT IS A REALLY ****ty paintjob, the paint doesnt stick) it only started to happen in the winter and whenever you touch it, itll just come off, the paint doesnt stick.
